Why not release this in the fall and give it a little credibility? Seems very disrespectful and puts the movie's box office potential at a serious disadvantage.

shareThis movie couldn't get a fall release. It's a great movie, but not big enough to fight the big budget fall films. They are going to get much better box office now, plus, they will get the DVD sales for the Thanksgiving/Christmans holiday season. I guess to answer your question; it's about the money- not the art.
