Why Lack of Trivia?

I just watched this movie and darted to my computer to read some interesting trivia on IMDB's board. I was disappointed that a good movie like this has only one trivial fact on it. Very disappointing!!!

Also, not mentioned in goofs -- according to Greene's bio, he died weeks before his 53rd birthday. The newspaper headline in the movie says Petey Greene died at 53.

I think it is very irresponsible of the director(s) & producer(s0 of any film to allow anachronism errors in any film. We all know James Brown is the Godfather of Soul, but if that moniker wasn't his until the early 70s, then it shouldn't be in the movie at all. Facts in a movie that is based on a true story should not be "Hollywoodized".

I just watched this movie and thought it was pretty entertaining but when I too went to google Petey Greene it turned out most of what happened in the movie wasn't real. This is typical of movies based on real events but it's unfortunate that they had to take so many liberties with it (according to his family and friends).

Even if it's not entirely truthful it's still a great story.

Every single movie ever made that is based on a true story is "Hollywoodized". Not one is 100% true.
