is it ok if i liker the new star trek films?

Not really sure if your question is serious or not, but, of course, you are allowed to like them. As a long time Trekkie, I like them as well. From what I have seen, the issue isn't the people who don't like movies, but with people who feel the need to attack others for having an opinion that differs from theirs.

don't worry, there are many other people out there who also like the new ST movies  it's mostly just the butthurt Trekkies who are throwing temper tantrums and crying over spilled milk, and whining like little kids over the reboot, just don't let them get to you. There are a lot of jerks in this world, but you shouldn't let other people's opinions affect you, be proud of what you like.

I love the new ST movies and I'm proud of it, and I don't give a damn what those butthurt Trekkies think about it...as much as they feel the need to attack or belittle the people who do like the movies, but that would only prove just how petty and low their actions are.

I know a few die hard Trekkies who like them, so it's surely ok for you to like them. It's your life, you can do as you please, anyway.

I haven't seen Beyond yet, but I enjoyed the 2009 reboot and Into Darkness. Nobody's going to like everything, so learn to accept that and you'll be much happier.
