Great use of a second playable character

I'm currently in the middle of the game, and I'm surprised how much I like it. I played the first three also, but what sets this one apart is having the second playable character throughout most of the game. The ease of switching to the opposite character is good, and I like the fact that you can "rest" the character to build health.
