My girlfriend dragged me to this movie amidst much protest, but, it turned out to be really good. I laughed and she cried. So, there ya go...

I went to see it on a whim with my dad and was plesantly suprised too.

Yea, were watching it for French class (were reading L'avare), the movie is really funny.

I truly wish more people would let go of their insistence that things will be bad. Going in with low expectations can be a wonderful thing. You may surprise yourself. Working at a rental place, I like being the one to take advantage of the foreign films and b-line movies because I surprise myself many times over. It's just unfortunate that nobody in my small-minded, hick town will take my recommendation of this movie.

considering that i confused moliere with salieri (lol), i really did not know what to expect aside from it was probably going to be interesting because of Romain Duris.
