They turn into sand.
Awesome.
Well I sat through this wonderful cinematic turd of a movie. Seeing all the old actors was kinda cool. Got to play a guessing game as to who they were and where we saw them last. Buck Rogers, Hill Street Blues, House 4 and there were others.
The CGI was so laughingly bad at the start I didn't think I would make it through the whole thing. The punching people/turning into sand was cool, but it the CGI was horrible or it would have been viewable sober.
It's a hoot to watch all liquored up. My buddy thought it was one of the best movies he's ever seen...and he was pretty crapfaced. I was sober, thought it was awful. I'll give it a 4.
I thought the "horse" it rode was actually kind of cool. Even if it wasn't perfect, it was imaginative.

Last night, I was lying back looking at the stars and I thought...where the *beep* is my ceiling???
I watched it all liquored up, and it still sucked. I almost gave it a 2, because it wasn't as mind-numbingly boring as The Prey(1985), or as jaw-droppingly terrible as The Dark Power(1985), and didn't make me want to run out and stab to death the people responsible for its existence, like The Item(1999). Some of the cast were very attractive, at least, but ultimately that didn't make up for the cliched and boring script, mediocre-to-bad acting, awful effects, and absolutely *beep* plot.
