SyFy, last chance employment for aging actors

My comment may sound snarky but it isn't. Haven't you SyFy channel fans been noticing a lot of movie actors and actresses, obviously past their 'prime' acting years, appearing out of the woodwork in these 'economically' budgeted science fiction and horror movies on the SyFy channel?

I mean that's a good thing, right? Everyone has to grow old, even movie stars. But now the SyFy channel offers continuing employment to Hollywood actors and actresses who want to continue acting and also earning a living, even if they're no longer A list or top B list actors. If you can still work, why not?

Did you notice in the BONE EATER the following notable actors/actresses who were famous and even sex symbols back in their time?

BRUCE BOXLEITNER (Babylon 5, King and Mrs. Scarecrow)
GIL GERARD (Buck Rogers in the 25th Century)
VERONICA HAMEL (Hill Street Blues)
WALTER KOENIG (Star Trek)

Yes, movie fans, there is life after prime time acting. There's acting jobs to be had in economically budgeted sci fi and horror, made-for-television flicks.

Haha, yeah, and you forgot about The Greatest American Hero himself, William Katt, lol

This is nothing new: A-list actors throughout cinematic history typically resort to acting in B movies or C movies in their fading years, e.g. Audi Murphy, Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, etc.
