I love the motivational poster they have in the "Sheriff's Office" with the caption "CUSTOMER SERVICE" (not to mention the cubicles).
The hospital room where the deputy is taken says "Training Room" on the door. There is a wonderful fake plant by said door.
Also, who has a car phone these days, besides shrewd land developer Dick Krantz in his luxury sedan?
I got one:
About 34 minutes in when the kid is towing a white truck into the impound the tailgate of the truck falls down and a bone falls out of the back. If you look right before the tailgate falls you can see someones arm come above the truck bed as if they pulled a release pin for the tailgate.
Here are other unintentionally funny scenes:
1. The construction worker and the deputy are fleeing from the creature
in a pickup truck. The cop is riding in the truck's bed.
2. The truck goes over the edge of the highway and the cop is no
longer in the bed. He wasn't shown falling or jumping out of
the truck.
3. Later Sheriff Evans is told that his deputy was found on the side
of the road badly injured.
4. The sheriff checks on his man at the hospital and the attending
doctor is William Katt! Who isn't even credited in the opening
credits.
5. Veronica Hamel appears twice speaking to the sheriff by phone
and she's also uncredited as well.
6. Clara Evans who was 22 years young when the movie was released
in 2007 was playing a 17 year old hottie! HA, HA, WHAT A STRETCH!
Physically she is so stacked with a huge rack and looked so
obviously mature for a teenage girl! (Not that there aren't
17 year olds who look that sexy, plenty of them out there!)

I also enjoyed the Kaya's speech about the legend. What young woman spontaneously says words like "awoke from its slumber" and "unceremoniously buried"? Great writing, very natural!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when the sheriff, talking to Kelly at 3am, couldn't help looking down at her breasts. Wtf? But that was quite funny.
