If you're going to make a disturbing movie at least make it interesting

Now I'm not normally a person to have a moral outrage at disturbing films and that isn't my problem with this movie either. However I do feel like whoever wrote the script for this movie must be a middle aged perverted man who dreams about getting to take pick and choose between under aged high school girls to have sex with whenever he wants to. I didn't find the story in the least bit believable. I definitely didn't find it believable that so many young teenage girls coming from seemingly OK backgrounds would be willing to have sex with creepy, bald middle aged men for a little money. I didn't find it believable that they were able to keep it a secret for as long as they did without someone finding out. I didn't find it believable that they managed to keep it up without any of the girls involved getting pregnant and I thought most of the actors and actresses were very bad. I thought the teenage girls were written to seem like they were way older than they were ( One of them does it say at one point that they are under age, so I'm going to assume that the girls in this movie were 17 or younger), they seem to like experienced, cynical professional prostitutes who only cared about making money and didn't seem to have any qualms about what they were doing. Yes I know there was a one girl, Brenda, that seemed to freak out after a while and decided she didn't want to do it anymore, but the rest of them did not seem normal at all. They seemed a little bit like sociopaths, especially Shirley. Very little in this movie made sense to me. It would still have been OK if at least the movie wasn't so boring. This movie was seriously such a snooze fest that I several times considered turning because I was so bored. I think what bored me was how idiotic the movie was. I didn't feel any sympathy whatsoever for any of the characters, I actually hoped that they would be found out and that all of the men involved would go to jail. I didn't feel bad for her at all when she discovered that her father was also one of the men having sex with the babysitters. I didn't much care for the end is I would've wanted to see them get their comeuppance.

All in all this movie was utter crap and should never have been made.

Oh my goodness, I could not agree with you more! What creeps me out is how unrealistic everything is, but how determined the movie is on selling it as realism. It feels obvious this is just some creeper's fantasy. It's just not likely that all these girls are willing to sleep with old men for a little money when they clearly live in nice houses and come from a good community. The whole plot is sexist against men and women. The underlying assumptions are that all men want to have sex with kids and all girls will have sex for money.

The most frustrating part is when Shirley clearly doesn't learn anything. She does not express guilt or remorse for what she's done, neither is she punished.

The plot is disturbing, but more disturbing is the tone, complacency with statutory rape.

I guess you missed the part where she said, “I don’t get any more money till I get my grades up.” Plus you apparently you don’t know how widespread modern teen sluttage is today.
