You make some good points about personal responsibility and being loyal to someone one has made a commitment to (I'd agree that if someone wants to continue to have fun casually, be up front about it and don't commit to someone else--well, unless that someone else is into it also I suppose). But statistically the number of male cheaters is only slightly larger than the number of female cheaters. Google it. In other words, you're displaying a clear bias against men that is undeserved and not indicative of reality, indicating you've had a personal experience that's colored your worldview, or your buying into stereotypes.
Your comment about Asian culture versus American culture has merit, however. Although highly superstitious, Asian cultures tend to include a more strongly embedded sense of discipline and respect for elders, while American culture has been steadily going downhill for decades. However, having been to Japan a number of times and with a son there married to a Japanese wife, I can tell you that younger Japanese folks are heavily influenced by American libertine qualities (both good and bad). So it's really just a matter of time (probably a number of decades) before there's not much of a difference on that front.
