Why Did I Like Eureka?

I don't usually go for shows that are so light. It's like my mind was being controlled or something. I bet as soon as I post this the thread is deleted and people will arrive at my door with a strange device they shine in my eyes.

But really it was something to do with the show not taking itself too seriously I think. A lot of the jokes, acting, gadgets etc were so corny and cartoony that they had to be having a laugh at themselves.
