Better than 'The Mission' in my opinion

...and that's saying alot as I thought The Mission was great. I thought it had a better screenplay, acting, music, cinematography, and it shows how far To has matured as a filmmaker. Does anyone else agree?

I disagree. The Mission was fresh and witty. As someone else mentioned, the slower pace in The Mission made it easier to digest. Plus, I think the characters had a bit more development -- especially the mutual respect and camaraderie between them. There was just a certain coolness to it.

Did anyone find Nick Cheung's character likeable? In The Mission, I found Jackie Lui's more likeable.

Agree. I like this one better than "The Misson". Definitely better screenplay, music, and cinematography!

In terms of style, Exiled is better than Mission.
