Does anybody know what the hell this is!?!?

So I somehow stumbled across this film. I've seen the actual movie, and I found this trailer quite funny, but more-so baffling. Does anybody know what the *beep* it is? I mean, why does it exist? Who convinced so many busy actors to be in it? Is it just for the internet, or was there an original venue somewhere else? Please, I'm confused (but with a smile). Thanks!

It's a fake trailer. part of an art piece. have fun with it if you see it and enjoy :)

It was shown at the Whitney Biennial in 2006 (Day for Night). If you do see it, it will likely be at an art museum, either as part of an artists' film screening, or in a gallery of a contemporary art museum/wing.
