Tom Wilkinson * Very underated actor

I had not idea he was in this! Tom once again never fails to deliver a superb job! I swear this man can do no wrong on my book. I borrowed Cassandra's Dream from my girlfriend, and I admit I watched simply because I heard that Ewan and Colin were in it. Boy, it was a wonderful surprise to see Tom. Even though his role was minor, he made this movie for me. Anyone else agree?

The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity.

One of the best living actors...They're usually underrated...

Yes...his portrayal of a desperate man at the end of his rope was very convincing.

I never heard of Tom Wilkinson before, and I'm halfway through the film (which so far is dull and dreary). But I'll say this: The scene where Uncle Howard (Wilkinson) first proposes his "deal" to the boys under the trees was a great scene. I was very impressed by the performance and started wondering who the actor was.
