It was alright (spoilers I guess)

I just got done watching this off of the instant watch on Netflix, and as the title says it was an alright movie for what it was suppose to be, a torture film. What would have had made it better, is if it weren't streamed across the internet. I know that it adds a bit of shock value, in that people would actually watch this being done, and pay money to see more done, but it's unrealistic.

Not that people wouldn't watch it, I know people would, but the simple fact that he was never "saved". If your streaming across the internet, to millions of people (which can be presumed), than there is absolutely no way you could stream something like that Anonymously forever. Government programs like the NSA could easily trace precisely where the live stream was coming from, and rescue him.

Another thing that bothered me is the over whelming lack of a plot. The group never really established what they stood for, it surely wasn't against capitalism or greed, as they seemed extremely delighted by receiving tons of money. Because he was an American and the role "Americans" play in the global economy doesn't really make much sense either, as the French participate in the exact same way.
