How could they produce a ''Mama'' parody when Mama was only released after ''Scary Movie 5'' was shot? I'm wondering about this.

There were reshoots almost up to release to keep it topical, about 60% of the movie was reshoots I believe. Scary Movie 3 was much the same (don't know about any of the others).
