Saw Al do this in '03 LIVE at Ethel Barrymore/NYC

One of my TOP 5 entertainment experience in my lifetime. 'Done as a reading. No set. Just spotlights and music stands with Oscar's manuscript. Pacino's Herod was a whining mensch; kinda like a "high art" Gilbert Gottfried perched on his throne. Dianne Wiest as Herodius. David Strathairn as John the Baptist. And it was Marisa Tomei who took off her clothes...and...uh...danced. Everyone was dressed in Armani-like suits -- including Weist -- but Strathairn was in sack cloth, while Marisa had an "I Dream of Jeannie" giddap.

What an experience: seeing Pacino LIVE.

(BTW: The name, "Salome," appears no where in the Bible. Just "daughter." It was Josephus, the Jewish historian who identified her...which arguably substantiates/cross-references the Bible as a source of historical fact.)
