What was the accent?

Alright, so where was Corin's character from? When he's introducing his team to those two guys with the god-awful accents, he sounds like a good middle America country boy. Then when he's pushing the guy up against the train car and yelling at him, suddenly he's from New York? That's as far as I got into the movie, it's possible he had more.
