Haha, I know there was a lot of bad parts in the film, but I chose this one
The supersoldier gets hit full force off a tank shell, and gets buried, and doesn't even blow a limb off. But later on, his arm gets chopped off by a butter-knife?
What was the director thinking?
He also gets punched in the face, and this seems to stun him, whereas, an exploding armory just kind of annoyed him

Omg this is showing on Danish television right now and i simply just cant believe how bad this is. Must be somewhat near the worst thing ive ever seen, its horrifying.
shareI'm watching it too. Had the director only had the slightest sense of suspense it might have worked out in a silly, C-flick sorta way. But it doesn't.

What was Danish tv 3+ thinking! showing this as their main feature a saturday night.
The best thing about the movie was it's name; "SS Doomtrooper" sound so cool!

shareIn Germany we didn't even get that. Saw that piece of pi** recently on TV (at about a 2 am ^^) and here it was called something like Gen-Soldat (Genetic Soldier). Didn't even expect it to be set in WW II and had mild expectations at first. Hoped for something like a Wolfenstein-B-Movie until I saw the Doomtrooper... OMG... Did that thing even have textures? It almost looked like different colored polygons put together and that's it. Characters in 5 year old video games look better and they were animated in real time, not rendered.
I was really sad to see what "Parker Lewis" is doing nowadays. Didn't age in grace. Poor slob.
kinda like when superman would stand up to getting shot(bullets bouncing off his chest), but duck when the bad guy threw the gun

Keep in mind that the whole thing with the creature was that he could regenerate, not that he was inpenetrable. The tank blast knocked him back and hurt him, but he healed himself and kept going. The knife was able to take his hand off, but it would have grown back soon enough, the creature just died before it could.
