Just a generic romcom with a mental disorder.

I almost liked this movie until it became a romantic comedy. They even threw in the generic airport scene.

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.

At least a romcom is funny. This was just boring and incredibly wanky :(

As a youth I used to weep in butcher's shops

It's funny I thought the same thing with the airport scene. Mainly because I watched the film after recently watching an episode of the ABC comedy series Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 where they made fun of the airport thing. So it really stood out as being generic. But besides that scene I didn't find the whole film to be generic. It had its moments. It had that good indie feel to it. I also thought the performances were strong. Another under-appreciated performance from Lynn Collins, and Pollak did a great job as the best friend. So it wasn't an exceptional film by any means but it was a good watch.

This was one of the less interesting Matthew Perry movies I've seen. I thought he was genuinely funny in The Whole Nine Yards, The Whole Ten Yards, Three To Tango, Fools Rush In, and Serving Sara.
