A ridiculous movie!

I am an English girl who loves watching Bollywood movies, particularly ones featuring Akshay Kumar! However, I have to say this movie was terrible and also exceptionally offensive towards British people. It implies that all British people are racist towards Indian people, not to mention the fact we are all supposed to be ignorant with no morals or knowledge of other cultures. Obviously there are people like that, as there are in every culture but to suggest that we are all like that is not only wrong, it's racist.
The worst part for me, was when Jazz's friend wanted to marry an English girl and the father said he would have to change his name to something more 'English' and confirm he had no terrorist links. I do not know one British person who would even consider this to be acceptable behaviour.
It is a real shame that so many respected Bollywood stars were involved with this film. I really was a big fan of Akshay prior to seeing this movie, I also have seen and enjoyed many of Katrina Kaif's movies. However, after this I think I will be avoiding them both from now on.

It is just a movie you know... Watch Akshay's latest,'Patiala House', he plays for England in it.

You're right actually, I watched some scenes putting myself into the shoes of a english guy, & it evokes the same sentiments it evoked in you.
It only sells coz of what the forefathers of your land remind the majority of the world of.
Things have changed a lot now though.
