Wasn't Akshay Kumar great?

This was my first time seeing him in a film...I was totally impressed. He has a stability, a solidness to him. Really liked him.

Katrina Kaif just seemed a bit dingy to me...Is she just acting or is it her personality?

just curious...

yeah he was good, a welcome change after watching wrinkled SRK in such mushy roles

good movie and good performance

reply

Who cares abt Akshay Kumar or SRK or Katrina Kaif, --- THIS movie was entirely RISHI KAPOOR'S SHOW. HIs performance was awesome .. just sells the movie for me.

reply

mo88..you're spot-on..Rishi has done a commendable job after so many years...Was too good in his heydays in the 70s...

reply

yup akshay was good, pretty surprising since hes usually a very boring actor to watch.

reply

aallyv..you think Akki is a boring actor? I guess you've not seen him in Awara Pagal Deewana, Deewane Huye Pagal, Garam Masala and Bhagam Bhag. He's a class act & really steals the show in all these multi-starrers. And if you think NL is good, you should try watching Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (similar plot).

reply

I agree...he was brilliant, after him Rishi did awesome job...even Katrina was pretty good.

reply

i agree. akshay kumar is not at all boring. he is usually a bundle of life in most fo his films. humko deewana kar gaye was also good. akshay & katrina shared such good chemistry in that film. they are like my new fav jodi. :D

Akshay Kumar was great

Akshay is like jeetendra in the 80s a boring but reliable hardworking actor. Namastey london was af antastic movie, Akshay played his part well, but Kat stole the show, what a bird!

I love this movie and Akshay was awesome

he looked absolutely gorgeous in tails. they should have got him in a tophat too. but why do they keep dyeing his hair brown? it doesnt suit him, or were they trying to make him more angrezi? keep to your normal black love.

Akshay was amazing! He really did a great job.

Katrina Kaif was a little flaky, and just avaerage in terms of acting...I didn't like her much.

@ghantasingh and Shangar87: wow...you guys....just wow...have a lot of time.

@OP: yes, Akshay Kumar was great. He was literally carrying the movie. Every scene with him was a riot.
However, every other performance was commendable. It's like one of those few films which work on an ensemble.
Of course Rishi Kapoor was completely awesome, but everybody was fit in their respective roles.

reply

Yeah, this was the only movie in the decade in which Akshay was gr8.
