There is a strong bias on IMDB against films with Christian themes. Any movie that is perceived as having a "Christian message", no matter how subtle or artfully handled, is immediately flooded with haters who call it "preachy" and give it a low score without bothering to see it before rating it.

Probably true. Too much religious overtone for some folks.
