Rosie and Bill (spoilers)

Is anyone else a little uncomfortable at the end when Rosie is chasing Bill? She makes a pass, he turns her down, she refuses to accept it, and then they spend the next five minutes with him trying to get away, and everyone encouraging her to catch him. That seems....weird to me.

I know it's supposed to be funny, but if the roles had been reversed, and it had been Bill doing the chasing, it would have been seen as kinda creepy.

I think that it's fitting in with an ABBA song that we all know, and her movements are somewhat fitting with the lyrics. If it were a serious scene it would have been creepy no matter who was doing the chasing.

This among many other reasons is why I have never liked the character of Rosie. I can't decide if it is all that is written in her character or if I just don't like Julie Walters. I've always said, she looks like someone's mom who just wandered onto the set and refused to leave until they gave her a part. It was as though she was trying hard to be funny, but wasn't, rather just the most eye rolling part of the movie. Her lines and actions were cringe worthy and embarrassing. Again I don't know if it's Rosie or Julie I don't like. But to your point, yes, I can see at the end why Bill was trying to lose her, and I feel that anyone would have. Her whole character was just pushy and intrusive.
