The infectious energy/talent of the female leads and finally the incredible risk of having non-dancers DANCE and SING.
IT WORKED!!
I fell in love with a pretty good movie just because of THIS one scene.
The extras stole this scene.

Benny and Björn were interviewed on their cameos I remember and Björn was like: "You were just a local playing the piano, I was a God." Benny: "Yeah - Aphrodite..." *both start laughing* :-). I think that clip is on youtube... I love those two and their humour.
Dancing Queen made the film for me too...
