For those who don't like the actors who can't sing...

I will happily take these actors who can't sing over singers who can't act worth a crap. I may stand alone here, but for the parts they play, I think this film was superbly cast. So some of them can't sing that great, so what? Stop taking it all so seriously. If you want something so glossed over, go see it on stage. The truth is, they were just playing people. Not singers. THIS is what life would look like if people just randomly burst into song and dance.

I loved all three actors chosen for the dads. The girls (except Rosie. She just annoyed me). Even Sophie and Cy. Some could sing and some couldn't. I didn't care. I wouldn't have replaced any of them. Well except Rosie. She annoyed me.

i personally think it would have been better with people who could sing, and who weren't years too old for the parts they were playing. but it was amusing enough.
