Is the play much better than the movie?

I remember a lot of people saying Jersey Boys the play was far superior to the movie and I totally agree, although I loved both, the play was so much better.

Is that the case for Mamma Mia as well?

I already saw the movie, and I'm going to see the play later this year.

I hear people get so into the play that they get up and start singing and dancing in the aisles is this correct or an exaggeration?

Also Amanda is so smoking hot in this movie! She is probably the hottest I've ever seen in a movie here. Is the actress that plays Sophie in the play also as hot?

The play is amazing.. Great movie but the play is by far better!

The play is infinitely better if for no other fact than singing. The atrocious singing in this movie completely ruined it. I'm sorry, but not a single lead in this atrocity can sing worth a d@mn!

I got tickets last year from my boyfriend who "hates musicals and hates Abba" and he said he would come with me basically as a favour to me because he knew that would make me happy. Throughout the play he was tapping his foot, asking questions, and hummed Waterloo the whole way home. This play is so so so good, I would see it again if I could but I believe the recent tour is the farewell tour.
