Gosh why isn't he in this one? He is sooo hottt! he is the reason i watched Eating Out in the first place. Why another actor? There's no point to this movie then.

I guess since he's a recurring character on Desperate Housewives, he doesn't need to or feels that he is too good to do independant films.

I don't think it's that he feels too good for independent films, but maybe he feels too good for this one. The original is horrible, and from what I've heard, this one is as well.

YES HE is HOTT, however he is clearly not needed for this movie due to the fact that the other guys in supporting roles are SUPER HOTT as well.....

ESP TROY, and OCTAVIO, and ALLEN and Ellen's New roommate MARK....

You should go see it for its still worth seeing with OTHER HOTTIES

I heard he left General Hospital just before they outed his character because he didn't want to be typecast in gay roles, could be why he didn't do this one. Bummer!

He probably skipped it because he developed some sense after reading the script. This movie is terrible.

It had a fairly low budget, so that may have been an issue.

It was probably filming at the same time as his new movie 'Surf School', so he probably couldn't do both films at once.

We'll probably still do Ryan in indie films, he just probably won't do any more full frontal scenes since he's starting to become a more mainstream actor thanks to General Hosptial and Desperate Housewives.

They don't put people like us in hell, we'd only end up running the place.

actually, he simply wasn't asked to be in this film. his character isn't, nor was ever in the script. so he wasn't given the option of turning it down.

he was never offered the role in the sequel at all.

so don't blame the guy for not appearing in a film he wasn't asked to appear in.

Uhm... Yeah, his character is in the movie. It's Kyle's ex-Marc. Maybe they just couldn't meet his qoute since he can ask for more money now.

Marc is in this movie, obviously played by a different actor.
