ok - time to pick apart your post.....i love this.

- well, for starters. its not written in stone anywhere that any game released, by sony or otherwise, is required to be available on all systems, including pc. remember that sony/microsoft/nintendo are all in competition with eachother, leaving you the only person thinking its unfair.
2) "These large companies are continuing with the idea that video games should only be played on their processing systems, which are slowly upgraded through a series of pacing, so that eventually you’ll need to purchase THEIR system again in order to play the newer games, that way they continue to profit off of the same people."
- last time i checked, pc's hardware/software becomes out of date within 3 months or so. with videogame systems (a product made simply for videogames), there hasnt been a need to upgrade them as frequently. see, VG system owners dont feel a sense of inadequacy when their system is inferior to the next guys, unlike pc owners who upgrade like it gonna save someone's life. (or at least their reputation on World of Warcraft) this is why sales of vg systems go through the roof, while the PC fanboys laugh as we spend $200-600 every few years on a new system. funny thing about that is that pc fanboys spend that much every few years to keep up with the upgrades required for their mega PC's.

Their systems are also designed to make it harder for game modification; which is one of the most popular aspects of PC gaming."
- your first point - i'll agree, your second point - i'll agree. easy game mod? well, i bought a Pro Action Replay and all i do is move the cursor to what i want, click (or push button). easy-peasy. any BTW - regarding game modding being popular by PC owners. It seems like PC owners get lost in the modding aspect and forget why people spend months to years making the games. TO PLAY!!!

- that is the dumbest comment i've heard. a hammer and nail have a simplistec design, but you still cant find them in Toys R Us, well, maybe a Playschool version. Does this mean that PC's are difficult in design? i dont remember reading the lengthy manual for finding the power button on my computer. There are some cars on the road with simplistic design, but yet again, no kids driving them. This website has a simplistic design, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE??? i dont really know what you were getting at with that "point". Do you want a PS2 with wings and a gyroscope somewhere? if you reply to my post at all, this is really the only thing i cant figure out - how difficult do you want it to be to turn on the game system?

- the average cost of a basic pc with everything you need (monitor, pc, mouse/all that stuff) is roughly $700 Canadian. most of the software is on shareware trial - which means you can only enjoy the stuff on it currently for a month before spening at least $19.99 each to get the full thing. once you have all that software on that computer, it slows down due to memory usage. once it slows down, you upgrade the memory, once you upgrade the memory, you upgrade the motherboard, once that is done, you upgrade the video card......etc, etc. so after all that, just to play certain games that are rather demanding on the graphics side of things, you've spent over $1000. now lets take the very expensive PS3 for comparison. brand new, it costs about $650-699. this includes a system that plays games that gives some PC only games a run for their money in terms of visuals. you also get a 60 gig hd. you also get a cd player, mp3 player, blue-freakin-ray player, which on its own runs you close to $1000. oh - and upgrades aren't neccesary. so for that one my frie....IMDB acquaintance, again - you are wrong.....and very bitter towards game systems for some reason.
6) "With Playstation and other game systems, loading up of the game takes too long. PC does not."
- while this may be true in some cases, its often PC games that slow down for loading - if you haven't forked out the extra $$$ to upgrade your PC to make all your games playable. PC games these days require the mother of all videocards to play them with the graphics running smooth. i would rather wait the extra 15-20 seconds for it to load on my PS2 than spend more money to make it enjoyable and play without skipping/freezing/VIRUS!!!

dont get on your high-horse just yet my fellow poster. someone checking to see if there have been replies doesnt really count as stalking. if you want to feel special, then go ahead and call it that.
Basically, i, like you, felt that i had an important point to get across, i was interested on seeing what you had to say in response. since i noticed that that post went a while without delay, i thought i would see if you were posting similar garbage elsewhere, which you were. so i merely went to the same topic you were currently posting in, noticed that you were still going on about your pc vs gaming systems. just incase you didnt get the first message, i wanted to post it again.
since you are only concentrating on the fact that someone looked to see what else you were posting, just to see if you were a troll or not, which is a function that imdb has given us, i am left to assume that you have no response to what i have posted.
