Saw

One of my favorite people in the world knows the director of this film! I saw it when I was in New York and it was incredible! Very cool! Go see it

I was planning to see this in Atlanta. Who knew it would only be in theaters for 1 week. That sucks! I now have to wait for the dvd or hope it'll be shown at the Midtown theater (caters toward gay movies) or at the next Pride festival, if it's shown then.

Saw the movie last night via Netflix. Bravo again to the Maurice Jamal for another good movie. I love, love The Ski Trip. Following in that tradition, Dirty Laundry did not disappoint. There were many, many laughs and big ones at that. I found myself laughing out loud and rewinding several times. I hate I missed the change to see this with a live audience.

The cast was stellar! Loretta Devine was so good and funny as hell in this movie. She easily gave me the most laughs! Second in laughs was the incomparable Jennifer Lewis. She's always good in everything she does. Rockmond Dunbar was very good and very believable as Sheldon. He didn't overdue it. I thought his acting just flowed. Joey Costello, who played Ryan, was adorable. Terri J. Vaughn, Maurice himself, and the rest of the cast were great. Keep bringing us good entertainment, Mr. Jamal. Very enjoyable movie!

One more thing, enjoyed seeing Nathan Hale in his small role, and was that 'Sticky Fingaz' formerly of Onyx at the family picnic?

I thought the movie was pretty good, better than that damn "Meet The Browns" that I paid $16 on earlier that day, I only spend $1 to rent Dirty Laundry. I would have rather seen that in the theather with a larger audience.

Dirty Laundry is definitely one of those overlooked movies.

Nice to see Terri Vaughn from "The Steve Harvey Show" in a movie where she gets to stretch her acting wings a little.

Jenifer Lewis has a beautiful voice. She should be a mayor or president or something the way she speaks.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.

I would say so too. This is a wonderful movie that really shows a lot without trying to be a message movie, it just relays the msg--that's all
