Is any one else pissed that there is a re-make of this movie?!
Grr
shareAs long as audiences pay to see remakes, they will be made, no point in whining (or growling) about it.
If you have an issue, withhold your entertainment dollars.

Since I hated the 2007 version, thought it was gross and unfunny, got dry heaves from the guy that kept spitting and felt ripped off for paying to see it, I will not be watching the remake. But it's pretty silly that they are remaking a three year old movie that I believe was already a remake.
Oh and the spitter, Alan Tudyk, is in other movies and shows since then. I cannot stand to even look at him now.
I cant believe that there are actually people who hated this movie! Thats just so funny! LOL!!!

Yep, only thing we can do. I dont hate remakes persay. Sometimes they can be quite good, however, I cant say that in this case. I enjoyed the 2007 Death at a Funeral and am glad that Peter Dinklage is working so much, love him! Still, the remake isnt good so I will be doing just that, will only be watched by my family if they catch it on the movie channels I already pay for.
The remake isn't out in Australia yet but I think just by looking at the trailer I can make a pretty accurate estimation on how bad it is... I'm just angry because it's completely unnecessary to remake the 2007 movie. It was great and only came out 3 years ago!! I wish hollywood could have just left it alone =S
Pray, what is this rustic hovel that presumes to superimpose itself on my gazebo?
Extremely! There was no need to make a remake!! I don't understand why!
Mystique and Wolverine forever Coraline is the best vampire ever! (Besides Selene)
Yeah, its so absurd.

The question should be "Is there anyone NOT pissed at the remake?"
shareWell, I have only seen the British version of this, and I don't see a need to remake this. I loved the British version and IMO when America tries to remake something that the British have already done (and I thought it was funny as hell. I couldn't stop laughing. Especially when the Little Person [who was also in "In Bruges"] reveals that he was involved romantically/sexually with the deceased, and all the drama that ensues because of it) well nothing an American remake does will ever come close. The British just do dry humor much better than American movie/T.V. could ever hope to (and don't start bashing me for being an "American hater." I'm not. I'm American, but I recognize that we just don't do comedy right most of the time.
Btw, is there a movie in which the guy (who played Jeffrey Chaucer from "A Knight's Tale") doesn't go around with no clothes on?
"A Beautiful Mind" maybe? "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World" almost
certainly (I think), and he didn't get completely disrobed (geddit?) in
"The Da Vinci Code"
Chaucer is actually played by Paul Bettany, Alan Tudyk is in A Knight's Tale but he's clothed. (;
Oh, good. For a moment there I thought we were in trouble.
A Knight's Tale actor playing Geoffrey Chaucer is Paul Bettany. The actor in Death at a Funeral playing Simon is Alyn Tudyk who also plays Wat in A Knight's Tale.
shareI'm only pissed that they're remaking it so soon. It feels kind of disrespectful to the original. But honestly this one looks funny too, and from the trailers I've seen they're leaving a lot of the original of the British version in this one. So I'm not too sure how to feel about it until I see it, I guess.
shareThat was how I felt about "The Departed". Remakes should not be made from recent movies. There are still hundreds of classics that hollyweird still has not disgraced without having to resort to recent film.
