I don't know. It seems like everyone else that got a phone call from Lillith, or even had her whisper in their ears, did something she manipulated them to do. I thought that the cop was going to try to kill his family, too.

The message was not aimed at him, it was aimed at Doug. When Mike calls Emily over he says "You were right, Doug got a call also but his was from your cellphone and we have a recording of the message."

I thought it was Mike to, but if you listen to when the dude say "Lily, is that you?" it sounds like Doug, also Mike wouldn't likely know lily's voice from anyone elses, he really just rescued her from her parents not spoke to her.
