Kôsuke Kindaichi

Strange that in a 136 minute murder mystery, which genuinely feels much longer, the most intriguing character is given absolutely nil background story. There is also the matter of his comic sub-plot relationship with the cute hotel employee that just seems to have no resolution either. In a remake, odd directorial/editing decisions IMO.🐭
