Bad things about this game.....

This is an excellent game but every game has its flaws. The flaws in this game are:

Dumb AI.
Enemies don't always react to shotgun shells at CLOSE RANGE.
8-12 bullets to kill a soldier without body armour.
15-30 to kill an armoured soldier.
30-40 to kill a soldier wielding a shotgun.
30-45 to kill a soldier with a glass shield.
15-30 headshots to kill a soldier with a shield.
Annoying blur while reloading (but you can cancel out the blur with a melee hit right before you reload).
The enemies sometimes just somehow know you are around.
The enemies don't have to point there gun at you to shoot you.
Headshots don't always instant kill (and that goes to any soldier).
Submachine guns and assault rifles hold way too many rounds per clip in this game.
Glock 17 pistol holds only 12 rounds when it really holds 17 + 1.
DC3 Elite does not exist. It is obviously either an IMI Desert Eagle .50AE, IMI Desert Eagle .44AE, or IMI Desert Eagle .357AE. Either way it holds too many rounds.
AK-47 holds 30 rounds, not 60.
Uzi holds 32 rounds, not 90.
Ingram Mac 10 holds 32 rounds, not 70.
I think the G36C holds 30 rounds. I know it holds less than 70 rounds.
M16 holds 20 rounds not 95. There is a 30 round clip in real life.
RPG-7 does not come in silver.
Spas 12 does not reload through the bottom. It reloads through the right side in real life.
MP5 holds 30 rounds, not 80.
He pulls back the hammer after every shot with the magnum. The magnum in this game is a 6 inch Colt Python. Pulling back the hammer is not necessary with this gun. It is a waste of time.

I guess that's about it. You can make your melee hits faster by reloading and canceling out the reload with a melee hit.

Black Ops mode is surprisingly easy. I beat it in two days. It takes only one headshot to kill anyone including shotgun soldiers and shielded soldiers using the M16 A2. It is also the strongest gun in the game.

Having to sit through some of those cut scenes

And the lack of check points . And that you cannot save a partial mission. Rubbish.

But is it legitimately harder or just harder in an purely annoying way?

All the magazine counts were off, well except for the magnum. It made no sense, especially since they tried so hard to be realistic about all the other aspects of the weapons.

Besides what everyone else mentioned, here what sucks about the game.

1. (For me) I can only open doors with a shotgun.
2. Only two guns at a time.
3. The toggle is too slow and I couldn't adjust it.
4. (Maybe it's just me) The freaking rpg guy is too crazy, no reload time?

Things I would add or change.

1. To make it a more realistic feel to it, I need a wide screen perspective. people's degrees of sight isn't this 60 degrees.

2. When shooting at someone, you kind of have a six senses or a feeling to know where to shoot. Based on instincts, like sound and movement. Basically when you turn to shoot someone, your motion to take person is much more automatic. I know it seems weak, but it's true. This instinctive motion can't occur for soldiers in a distance of course.

Maybe in your next life, you'll believe the Zodiac when it tells you to cut the red wire.

P90 holds 50 rounds.

Call me a gore hound but some good blood effects would have been great.

The blur thing didn't bother me, because when reloading, your field of view changes so you can focus on your weapon so everything else in the distance is no longer in focus.
Admittedly a soldier worth his salt wouldn't need to closely study his weapon for every reload, but I thought it was a nice touch and hadn't been done before.

For one thing, they know the guns held more rounds then the RL counterparts but that was deliberitly done to make the game more fun and lets you cause more carnage.

first of all , let me say this is the one of the best games i ever played , however there are some annoying things :

1- only 2 weapon to hold
2- no map
3- too short

i find it annoying how they conveniently left out realism...15-20 shots per guy? *beep* in reality, a guy w/ no body armor would be dead with 3 at most. also, the clips were way too big....feels like they compromised with the enemy's health with a big ass clip for each gun. also they should at least have put a save feature in the levels....you know like 3 per level? pretty *beep* annoying to beat one tough ass firefight only to get cheapshotted by some guy who didnt die after a clip of mp5 ammo was emptied into his chest...dont get me wrong, i like the game most of the time..but for now, im kinda pissed at it due to getting my ass handed to me. lol

The levels are waay too long.

Only 3 people kill off over 100 enemies in some levels.

Only 2 teammates...i wanted it to be a whole platoon of soldiers like in COD4

When you zoom in to focus on a faraway target, the picture just zooms in on the barrel of the gun instead of having you look through the reticles.

no jump feature

Inaccurate gun designs

Vehicles explode from just 15 shots from a freakn' 9mm

The DC3 Elite looks nothing like a Desert Eagle.

There's lots of goofs in this game and pretty much everything was exaggerated...but I still like it though
