ok this is the question in the battle for the ultimute shooter who would win black or halo both are awsome and both have good and bad points
halo good points
.great graphics
. huge levels with massive open ended enviroments
. great cinmatic story line
. online multiplayer
bad points
.what happend to the end of halo 2
.non destructibale enviroments

black good points
. massivlly detalied highlly destructibale enviroments
.live action pre mission cinmatics
.huge explosions
.awsome sound bullets spang of walls explosins rock your ears and machine guns are deafining
black bad points
. not as exspansive as halo
. no multi player good damnn it
. and the biggest fps sin of all(also commited by killzone) theres no goddamnn jump button why not

Also you cannot save ( this is 2006 , its not that hard) Stupid invisible walls. The cinematics are too much and the intro one that cannot be skipped is rubbish.

i agree that not being able to save is a bit dumb (stupid checkpoints)however i liked the cinimatics cept for the intro (grrrr) any way which ones beter hmmm?

Black is intense in its own way and is a damn fine shooter. It lacks the depth of story and creativity of Halo, which some people say is not important. Also. no jumping and invisible walls are such a let down after HL2, halo (1 and 2, etc. But for shear gunplay, it ranks at the top. Physics are top notch and the sound is killer, but compared to other FPS games, the limitations in movement and saving the game are major strikes against it. In that regard, halo wins hands down.

Both Halo's are overrated. Black beats the *beep* out of both Halos. I found Halo's level design boring as well as the game itself. At least Halo has multiplayer. Who cares if you can jump or not?

no comparison, don't even start.

but, if i HAD to, i'd do Halo; BLACK is an amazing game, but my annoyance with it on its harder levels as with the lack of blood brings up its loss. otherwise, a draw.

Arguing on the net is like running in the special olympics: even if you win you're still retarded.

i think both r brilliant games and iv finished em both but i think Halo is clearly the winner. this is why i think Halo is better
1. its got much bigger lvls
2. u can drive veihicles
3.its got a jump button
4.the multi player is gr8
5.it got online play

the best thing about black is that there r real weapons (eg. g36c mp5 spas12)
and u can blow the crap out of every thing

Honestly I would have to say Black because I loved the realism and prefer real world shooters to sci-fi shooters. The gun detail in black was amazing, as was the physics engine and the overall ambiance of the levels, by saying that I'm talking about the dust particles, the sun beams, the sound of breaking glass in the distance, the game was amazing and could have made a truly lasting impression had a bit more work been done in terms of story.

Sorry but if the game lacks story... or even animated cut scenes It's medicore in my scale. No hatred towards anyone here I just like my games to have a nice story line behind it especially if it's a FPS. I'm not all that into that genre anyway. So I'm just going to have to say halo do to the story component of it.

Black hands down. A much more enjoyable and slightly more realistic game.
