What would have been better? THIS:

Wow... Unforgiven's main event really sucked... This match could have had one of the coolest endings EVER, but, no... they decided to just give the WWE Title back to Cena, because... the fans like him? He's a good wrestler? His movies going to bomb?

Why in the blue hell did Matt Hardy not interfere in this match and cost Cena the match? Let's look at the reaosns why he would have:

1. Teddy Long wanted Cena on SmackDown!... so, it would have made sense for Long to have SOMEONE cost Cena the match...

2. Matt Hardy should have been that someone, so when Cena went to SmackDown!, Matt would have come to RAW...

3. Had Matt have come to RAW, there would be a Hardy Boyz reunion

4. With the Hardy Boyz in the Tag Team division, some dignity could have been brought to the World Tag Team Titles...

5. With Cena on the weaker show, he could actually get a fan base... and be off the better show...

6. And also, with Matt Hardy on RAW, they could have had Lita ditch Edge, and reform TEAM X-TREME!!!

But no... they decide to go for a momentary cheap pop of Edge going throguh 2 tables... Yay...

I seriously need to be a writer for this show....

You seem to be forgetting that Matt Hardy hates Edge so why would he interfere? If anyone else should should have intefered it should have been Teddy Long or Ken Kennedy. But I agree they shouldnt have given Cena the belt back.

Matt could have cost Cena the match, but attacked Edge after the match, for old times sake.

"Now it's time to get this party crackin'" (Eddie Guerrero's final entrance theme)

i thought that kane vs umaga was good and suprisingly so was the highlanders vs. spirit sqyad. there was nothing special about the hiac except the new cell is now 30ft. edge tried his best to carry cena but it's over i tried to give cena another chance but he made the tlc god-awful. so it's all edge from now on cause that's probably who will face at survivor series in one way or another.

bbjduncan... in answer to your question, and it's an easy and obvious answer...

Matt Hardy should have interfered because as I said, he should have been sent to attack Cena to bring Cena to SmackDown! for Teddy Long, and then he could have goe to SmackDown!( kinda like a trade deal for Matt with Long), and then, since he, as you stated, does not like Edge, Edge would still be the Champion, and he could have continued his feud with Edge from months back... Duh.

The Kane vs. Umuga match was great... until the HUGE LETDOWN ending... why do they insist on giving some characters big winning streaks? Do they actually think the Umuga character is gonna stand the test of WWE time? He'll be a memory by WrestleMania...

The Highlanders should have won, simple as that... I'm about ready to hunt down the jerk who thought that a group of 20 something male cheerleaders would be a good character down and strangle him with his own *beep* intestines.

And you say he could have continued his fued with Edge so your saying put him in a title match with Edge? That wouldnt happen he never had a heavyweight title match before they released him so why should they now? Plus it was Ken Kennedy who was wanting to go to Raw not Matt. And perhaps the most important fact is Super Crazy already moved to Raw with noone coming to Smackdown.
