the show is half real, half fake. they plan ahead where they're going, or whats going to be the central theme of the episode, but once they get there they just wing it.
i wouldn't call it acting, they're just two guys having fun. yeah it comes off as "dopey" but it's fun to watch right?
All "reality tv" is more or less written, and has a narrative of some sorts
shareI agree it's half half, you know 90% of reality TV is completely fake. This actually seemed legit, like they knew where they were going, but just ran with it. I think Rob really is a bit goofy, because that is how he is. I don't know either one in real life, so this is just MHO.
shareI don't think any of it is scripted as far as lines. I'm sure they are put into situations, kind of a wind them up and let them go scenario. If I had to guess, I would say they act pretty similar in real life. I like the show because it is blatantly obvious that they genuinely enjoying being around each other.
