Has it aired on the CBC? I've heard nothing about it, and it's not listed anywhere on CBC's website.

I did exchange an email with one of the producers at Alchemy - Hannah Wachs. Here's what she said:
only-me-1: I've been anxiously following the production and release dates of the CBC/Alchemy/Screen Door production "Everest" and was dismayed to find it wasn't available on DVD yet in the States. I couldn't even find where it had aired on the CBC. Are there plans to release it in the States, or at least in Canada? I really want to see it!
Hannah Wachs: Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, EVEREST hasn't yet found a US home. Itwill eventually be available on video internationally, but I don't yet have a date for you, I'm afraid.
All I got - so we only know a little more than we did before. But the reviews on the German sites have been very good.
