It's difficult to follow Ergo Proxy. It's very surreal and...wierd. Like it but some parts didn't made sense at all.
But back to my question. Did Re-l and Vincent get together or waht? Cause he's basicly saing he is death at the end of the show and that can't be a good thing.
Or did he meant it in a "I know who I am" way.
Very confusing.
My interpretation was that he chooses to kind of be a living gravestone, a reminder to the 'creators' of their past sins (destroying the proxies and the flawed 'dome populations' they created on Earth).
Unless they go after Re-l then 'the proxy of death' will mean something a lot more lethal. *big Pino "Hihi!"*
Okay. Guess we all have diffrent interpretations of the ending :)
My interpretation is that he says that to know who he is, but given what he said to Monad, it's clear that he is still Vincent Law. And that means he does love Re-l. So yes, sleep with a schmaltzy feeling in your heart, for they are indeed together now.
