Is it the Rage against the moons (i have volume one) or reborn on the mars (haven't got volume one yet)? I've not seen the anime so i was wondering.

I haven't read RoM yet, but vol 1 of RatM is what parts of the anime is based on. I think all of the stories in that book were in the anime. (which is really good) But I don't know how much of RoM was put into the anime...

I just started RatM and the beginning is the same as the first episode if I remember correctly. It has Abel Nightroad on the blimp or plane or whatever ordering the tea with lots of sugar and not having any money to actually eat, which is the same as where episode 1 starts (I hope).
