Not that I actually want to see it...
.. but what was the film that came before this piece of junk?
Do not waste the two hours of your life. Its sad that someone would spend the time and money making something like this in the first place. I kept thinking that at least the action scenes would be good or the special effects or something but this film has absolutely no redeaming qualities at all. OMG, even the wipes (they used wipes - some from Star Wars) were bad. Maybe the equipment is a little on the cool side. So they had a good wardrobe and I think thats where all the money must have gone. I don't think its possible to find worse acting than this film. They could have even just cut any acting and just done a military manouvers film (and actually gotten a grunt to write the 'script') and it would have been better had they sunk some money in to a ONE decent enemy instead of .. I think there were 4 and they were all horrible. Borg (in the credits one of the enemeies was listed as being "BORG" - lawsuit?), giant worms (but in the snow.. so its in no way like Dune.. not at all), psychokinetic cyborg bishops, and something like a floating head out of Dungeons and Dragons, and of course.. "grey" aliens. What a clusterfrack of a film. It even ended with a ... it didn't end, it was a cliff hanger like as if you'd want to see the next one.
I was wondering if maybe it was something 'just for the kids' to think 'its cool' but EVERY FEMALE in the film takes her clothes off for one reason or another and one character constantly tries to mate with just about everything in the film. Had it been PG then at least the kids could have watched it and liked it but not with that script.
So I wonder if it must be some sort of college expariment or something. A test film for something else.. because its way too bad to actually even be DTV. I mean its worse than what SciFi channel puts together sometimes.
The effects ARE NOT even up to the standard of that show Space: Above and Beyond and that was 10 years ago (and was good anyways), but this probably had twice the budget and couldn't pull off 5 minutes of decent film at ANY point in it.
Wow, yes, the worst film I've ever seen. Can't believe I made it through it.
I hope you take my warning seriously because if I can save someone else the pain of watching this film then my suffering will not go to waste.
