Sad ending.
What a great series. I'm so sad Arcueid died, but maybe that's why I liked this anime so much. Fate/Stay Night had a similar effect. :'(

Arcueid didn't die she just couldn't see Shiki anymore because of her blood lust. In the game it explains that when Roa died, Arcueid got the power he stole from her back and was able to regenerate. Still a sad ending though.

Sure did seem like she died in the anime though. She appeared to him one last time like a spirit or something then disappeared.
