So what did we think of tonights episode?

I liked it. Theyre back on track now which is good.

Also does anyone know what the wingding says?

reply

I thought it was great. Much better than the previous episodes (which weren't bad, just average).

What do I know? I'm a bear. I suck the heads off of fish.

reply

I thought it was hilarious :)
I loved that the title card read "The Chaser's waste of tax payers money" hahahaha.

reply

I loled at the poll written in Wingdings font.

Brilliant episode! Best one so far I reckon!
I loved Craig's reverse noddies! And driving to France!

reply

Far better than the previous episode. Glad to see them take up Rudd on his offer. Loved the Stig segment, although it did seem a bit long.

reply

I liked it. Though I wish they had put in a skit they filmed during the 2nd episode they were going to include in the 3rd.

The part about praying for sinners didn't do much for me, but everything else was hilarious.

Argh, a , is it real or have I gone ?

reply

This is The Chaser humour that I first warmed up to, at last! Side-splitting all the way through, IMO much more better than the other 2 episodes.

Boycotters, eat your hearts out, for they are back! :D

My TV decided to crap itself when they were about to show the web poll. Not sure what happened too it, but yeah. Stupid set top box.

But anyway, the episode was great.

I wonder what ACA and TT will talk about? Maybe they'll just have to resort to snide remarks that the Chasers went at Kevin. Or perhaps they'll comment on the 'waste of tax payers' money opening? I would be surprised if they didn't have some kind of comment about the episode.

reply

There wasn't anything obvious that ACA/TT would attack, so perhaps they'd approach it with a new angle. I'm thinking either an arse-kissing story or "how the suspension improved the quality of the show and it's a victory for all the complainers" or something along those lines.
They'd scrape through the barrel and'll find something to report, that's for sure...

I hope they don't take a complainers victory angle, because it'll just teach complainers that they can succeed at getting anything they want taken off air.

Argh, a , is it real or have I gone ?

reply

I could see that happening. And then, everyone should complain about ACA just sucking in general...

Loved that opening skit, especially the "Closed Forever" sign on the Church of Scientology"!

Loved the opening skit, too. Scientology one was great, so was the Moran one.

I surprising liked the new 'cleaner' version.

Where is the wingdings poll?

I missed ACA and don't watch TT. Did they mention anything??

I loved this episode - definitely the best so far. I loved the bit at the very start, with them doing all this 'charitable', 'good' stuff in their break to make up for the Realistic Wish sketch.

But I still do miss their previously segmented approach; it seems to have less structure these days, and that leads to some of the team getting more screen time than others (Chas and Andrew were hardly in this episode - pity, because they're my two favourites). And I really miss the What Have We Learned from Current Affairs segment - that was my favourite.
