Is there anyone out there that knows when "Hidden Palms" is going to be released on DVD in the United States? I've never got to see the series, but always wanted to. If anyone can help me with this, contact me at [email protected] thanks.
shareSadly, I don't think there are any plans to release the DVD in the US. The series is available to watch through Netflix, in the instant streaming selection. That is where I watched it a few years back.
shareI was lucky enough to have the sense to record the series onto DVD-R when it aired, but I would still like a DVD release.
shareI have the series in 720p HD.
Three steps :
1) Make sure you have U Torrent installed. If not Google it.
2) Go to btdigg.org and do a search for Hidden Palms 720p. Click on Magnet Link. This will load it up in U Torrent to download. It downloaded very fast which is surprising considering it's an older show.
3) This is where it gets a bit trickier. All 8 episodes have dual audio (Russian and English tracks). Now you could keep as is. However, you'll have to manually switch over to English for every episode. So I highly recommend MKVMerge. Download it and then import each episode one by one. Leave the video track checked, uncheck the first audio track, and leave the second one checked. Then hit start muxing. Repeat this process for all 8 eps and delete the old MKV files.
Sounds really complicated but it's super easy and it will give you the BEST looking collection of Hidden Palms out there. Remember DVD is only 480p so it looks better than DVD would.
