At least it was better than the last one.

If they make another one they have to do something a little diffrent next time.

how about a prequel? we really dont much about the origins of how the pumpkinhead monster came to be and we really dont know much about the past of the old lady and her ties to pumpkinhead.

Neither prequel, nor comedy. Just keep the dark tone and keep things cloudy.

The only thing I could think of to kill the expanding series is
to send Pumpkinhead in Space.

Pumpkinhead 5 should take place in a urban community. Basically sort of like a city or something in which drug lords and gang leaders rule and kill a 40 year olds son because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. She becomes miserable and a relative tells her the story of "Pumpkinhead". So the 40 yr old travels to find "Haggis" and explains the situtation and Pumpkinhead gets summoned. So Pumpkinhead travels to the city to begin killing off gang members and drug lords. The ending won't be the summoner dieing. It would be the summoner trying to help 2 relatives who were involved in the shooting.

I like the idea of an urban setting. They should get away from the inbred hicks. Don't get me wrong, I like the Pumpkinhead movies (except for the horrible Blood Wings...God I hate that movie), but they should get away from the country bumpkins.

And I agree argentobuff, sending Pumpkinhead to space will ultimately kill the series.

I too like the idea of changing the setting for a fifth Pumpkinhead movie. It would be a welcomed change. Like most people, I wasn't too happy with the plot of the second installment of the series. However, it did present one good question... Does the 'Vengance' demon always have to be unearthed from the old cemetery in Razorback Hollow? It wasn't in part two, was it? With that in mind and keeping with the city / urban theme, why not have the corpse being transformed into Pumpkinhead be that of say... a fetus that was dumped in a alleyway behind an abortion clinic? Asides for the fact that it would cause a major uproar in the Pro Life community, I believe that the story would be fresh and have so many more possibilities if we left the rural american backdrop for awhile. As for a plot, I thought someone's suggestion for drug dealers and what-have-you was a great idea. The only thing that I would change is the need for Haggis. Instead, why not have the individual seeking revenge enlist the dark magic of someone who runs a sidestreet occult bookshop? Also, I would like to see good 'ol Ed Harley sit this one out. No offense, Lance. Maybe this time, someone could produce a movie soundtrack too!

I think they should do a prequel set in western times - maybe during the Civil War. A bit of an explanation to who Haggis is would also be welcomed as long as its done with sense.

Pumpkinhead should win in this one. In every single one we see the person who called upon Pumpkinhead die. Well what would happen to the person if Pumpkinhead wins? How would this affect him and so on.
