So, how many sequels or bad films about sasquatches do you think Lance Henriksen will have to make until Sci Fi channel releases his children from what is obviously the most bizarre ransom type situation in the history of the world?

shareHenriksen is a good actor, that's true, but I've heard he's often tempramental and difficult to work with. That might have something to do with why he rarely seems to land gigs worthy of his talents.

Lance was a total joy - professional, collaborative and totally there to work, not just collect a check.
He also come out to support PH3 when it played at Screamfest.
That's good to hear, and no offense to you for your effort, but those last two PH films were god awful. I even sat through that Bigfoot movie he did, and was astonished by how bad it was. Writing a decent film isn't that hard. I just don't understand how people can't manage better for a guy who may be one of the best American actors of our time.
I may not know a lot, but I do know "a lot" is two words.
Well you do the best with the circumstances you have. PH3 and PH4 technically looked and sounded not as good on the TV broadcast (PH4 especially so) as they do on the DVD, so that hurts the films a little.
And I disagree, writing a decent film IS hard. Especially when you have to fit it into TV AND theatrical requirements, budgetary constraints, please a million producers, pay attention to existing mythology, and have seven days to go from nothing to the shooting script - given that reality Mike Hurst deserves a lot of credit.
You can't always aspire to art, but everyone did try and make as well crafted a film as they could. And come on, head in a beartrap! I mean, HEAD IN A BEARTRAP!
But thanks for watching, and writing, even if you hated it. And clearly I need to get back to work, lingering on the message boards as I have.

Hes an awesome actor. hes been around from aliens to pumpkinhead. he made a LOT of bad horror movies in his career. he does get great criminal and drama roles. but he seems to like horror movies and act in a lot of them, most end up bad but then again horror was never good at getting ratings. just look at movies like http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080100/
