Well you do the best with the circumstances you have. PH3 and PH4 technically looked and sounded not as good on the TV broadcast (PH4 especially so) as they do on the DVD, so that hurts the films a little.
And I disagree, writing a decent film IS hard. Especially when you have to fit it into TV AND theatrical requirements, budgetary constraints, please a million producers, pay attention to existing mythology, and have seven days to go from nothing to the shooting script - given that reality Mike Hurst deserves a lot of credit.
You can't always aspire to art, but everyone did try and make as well crafted a film as they could. And come on, head in a beartrap! I mean, HEAD IN A BEARTRAP!
But thanks for watching, and writing, even if you hated it. And clearly I need to get back to work, lingering on the message boards as I have.
