I had a blast with drag races...but I guess this is a matter of taste!!
Anyway...as I said before...this game looks more leanned to online gaming...so drag races dont work online...too quick to be played online...I think that's the reason!!
took me longer to do drag races than any other race, damn traffic on them nearly as bad as the traffic here. Oh look a car traveling at me lets pull out just after his latest possible braking point.
Drag races would be good if they were just a 1 mile ong race along a straight flat road!

Drag races were the call of the day for Most Wanted, it was a city bound racer confined to a city only. NFS Carbon has you in a valley area so the drift races took their place....
shareme personally....i found the drags to be the most fun and the easiest to do....
when i was playing, they were alwasy the first i did...but ya.. i guess thats just me...lets hope they come back for the next one...

I confess, I am still playing MW *am 6 on the black list and stuck with the bounty* and I hate the drag races!!, I can never get it right, always crash and eventually my brother comes and does it for me. I am glad they are not in Carbon. But that is just me.

I hate drag races too. I hate that the computer seems to cheat there. At the begining of the drag I'm first and then, before the finish line...the oponents apear I don't know from where (they where a few "good" metters away), and I finish 2nd, 3th or even 4th. :'(

Drag racing in these games are the easiest and least challenging, Carbon provides more of a challenge to the gaming, unlike MW. My bet toward this would be that the makers of the game wanted more of a challenge compared to the basics that were MW. Just my input.

Well...first of all they are hard for a reason...to make you fail until that orgasmic moment when you FINALLY succeed! That, for me, it's a good game choice! I don't like games that never end...like world of warcraft or things like that...but I also hate games that end too quickly to even be fun!
Drag racing is simple...xEllie said that computer seems to cheat! Well...it's a way to put it, yes, but...computer also gives you the hint for your next try! Drag races are too quick to make sight-seeing...but usually when you crash over and over again in the same place...your brain should start to think about alternatives ("gotta have more NOS"; "Stear different line"; etc), eventualy you advance a little further to the next obstacle...and then finish!
The fan view for this game...Drag Races makes you get intuitive and fast thinking! Of course I also went beserk like any of you...and unleashed every now and then the worst rage and slang possible; but it's quite a thrill when you finally get through (and that's the only reason for these races)!
