I enjoyed playing all of the NFS games for diffrent reasons, but i think MW would of been so much more. There was a real lack of mods available for the cars and in the end when you have kitted your car to the highest standard it doesnt look unique to any of the other cars in the game.
I think Carbon will make the same mistake as the other NFS games with the mods. If i was to develope the game, i would use for example HKS, Blitz, Nismo parts that can only be used on Japanese cars e.g Skyline and products like Year One can only be used on US Muscle cars. That way the cars will look more original with a real custom look. Lets say they issue a Drift Bodykit in the game, i think a Skyline would look much better than seeing a Shelby with the big bumpers an skirts.
I am into tuning cars big time and to make this game better that the rest i like to see the big names of the tuning world e.g Nismo, TRD, Prodrive, Spoon, Mugen, Year One etc. This will just be another good not great but good driving game.
I hope the Police are in the game again as that was what made MW. Without the police in MW it would of been boring. I hope Carbon doesnt just have pretty graphics, and i hope it does have the police in again.
As for one of the previous posts said regarding "Race at the Lights". That happens in the game doesnt it...its called Drag Race? I know what you meen though, you want a choice and freedom in the game.
Also in MW there where hardly anyother modded cars driving around and it felt really isolated, unlike NFS2 where there was 1 on 1 races.
What we have to remember is that it is only a game with limited memory, speed, data, physics etc. If you want realism then get into real car tuning, only problem it costs so much. The more advanced the games become and the more realistic the graphics appear people want the real feel and look of the dream cars that they lust after.
Well thats my 2 pence worth, thanks for reading my post.
