One of the funniest scenes of the documentary is about 49 minutes in when they have the dramatization of the children writing on the fence. This was when the friend described calling the US consulate regarding the kids. If you notice - the son is underlining 'come home' but to the left is a drawing with a callout which reads "C'MON BITCH" - this scene had me rolling.

The last we heard, the lady who was caring for them calling the US embassy and they took her kids back to the states. More than likely, the kids are back with Norma.
