Resident Evil 4 Ripoff

Does anyone else think the movie has some similarities with the Game Resident Evil 4. Such as: Small Spanish Village, Kipnapped Person, A Helpful local, Religious Cult and even some of the villagers in this movie look like the ones from RE4.
